The Supply Chain Intern will report to the Executive Brand Manager
Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Intern will be responsible for assisting the Executive Brand Manager in managing the team’s supply chain, logistics strategy, and operations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with creating process controls and training documents that will be entered into a quality management system
- Update Purchase Orders (PO)’s expected date in the system
- Participate and update minutes for Marketing and Sales Meetings
- Place Request for Quotations (RFQ) for office items
- Follow up on interbrand transfer orders
- Control office supplies requests
- Update supplier’s performance KPI’s
- Support initiatives aimed at conceptualizing Supply Chain strategies and operational excellence
- Assist in completing monthly forecast and sales related data entry to allow accurate forecasting and supply planning
- Resolve non-conformities of product, documentation of service, claims, invoicing issues and PO credits
- Forecast future requirements for suppliers
- Assist with periodic reporting
- Any other duties as directed by the Executive Brand Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business or any other related discipline.
- Work experience in supply chain management (Desired)
- Working experience of relevant software e.g SAP MM (Preferred)
- Working experience in project management, marketing, accounting/finance and google suite (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Attentive to detail
- Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
- Open to exploring a long-term internship with the possibility to be hired on as a Director of Customer Operations
